My colleague just became a dad so I thought it the perfect opportunity to try making another horse while altering the pattern.
As you can see, his lines are a lot cleaner than Siam's. I did however ruin a patch of his coat so I stitched a felt M onto his neck. The little boy's name begins with an M so I thought it fitting but my brother pointed out that the horse reminds him of a marshmallow. So that's what the M now stands for.
You can't really see but I used felt for the base of his hooves. It's white with pink, purple and blue hearts!
Main differences to Siam: Well, he's been blanketstitched by hand instead of machine sewn. His ears are smaller, legs wider and obviously his mane and tail are now different.
Areas for improvement: I didn't design his tummy strip properly so his legs are super wonky. I'd also like to redesign his hooves.
